University Applications
Laurels Education is providing detailed information for you to apply for your choicest University. We are always ready to help you out to cross any barrier in your application. Please follow the procedure given below to get rid of any fuss or time delay in your application.
Send us the documents as listed below in different stages or when asked to submit.
Steps to your Application:
STAGE 1:
Please get the Student Form by Laurels Education on top priority to let us know and assess your status to start with the admission process.
- Completed Laurels Education Form (see attached) Please DO NOT write by hand on the form and NO NEED to scan as well. Just type in and send the Ms Word file in attachment
- Current CV which comprehensively details your employment history
For Overseas applicants (who never studied in the UK)
- Copy of Valid Passport
- All educational transcripts and certificates obtained so far (including O level or GCSE or 10th & 12th, A level, Bachelor, Masters from back home) (and/or Any diploma course if done)
- Academic transcript with final degree certificate and attendance letter from the current educational institution (if the current course is ongoing)
STAGE 2:
- English language proficiency certificate. Only IELTS for UKVI (Academic) is now accepted for UK visa applications.CLICK HERE to book your test (Please submit it in stage 1, if already done).
- 2 satisfactory and distinct references, 1 of which must be academic, both on headed paper, signed by the referee and stamped by the institution. (We get this addressing to the university when asked)
- Bank statement showing the required maintenance fund of GBP 11,500 for 28 days. CLICK HERE to check Banks whose financial statements are accepted for UK visa applications from your country. (Please get ready with your funds arranged when asked to avoid any delay)
Additional
Indian students IELTS
- For PG study, applicants would need to have studied a bachelors in English from a state/central university (NARIC approved) and provide a medium of Instruction letter from the university. The study should have taken place within the last 5 years.
- For UG study, applicants require 65 or above in standard 12 English and a Skype interview would be required with our admissions team
English Language Proficiency by De Montfort University
DMU offer DATE testing which replaces IELTs for entry to study at DMU.
For inside UK students
- Mail us your Details on info@laurelseducation.co.uk
- Current CV which comprehensively details your employment history
- Copy of Valid Passport
- All visa copies (and biometric cards) including the first UK Entry Visa.
- All previous CAS/Visa letters issued from previous UK educational institutions including the CAS/Visa letter for the first visa issued from back home.
- All educational transcripts and certificates obtained so far (including O level or GCSE, A level, Bachelor, Masters from back home).
- Progression and attendance letter from current UK educational institution.
- Evidence of your UK study progress for each visa issued since entry clearance (result slips, certificates, transcripts from university/awarding body).
- Home Office letters (if any e.g. 60 days curtailment letter, any refusal letters, appeal documents etc).
- English language proficiency certificates (e.g. IELTS).
- Bank statement showing the required maintenance fund for 28 days.
- 2 satisfactory and distinct references, 1 of which must be academic, both on headed paper, signed by the referee and stamped by the institution.
Some other documents can be asked by the university and totally depends on the university. The listed documents can be asked from time to time for an approval letter. We suggest to get ready with the initial and basic requirements to avoid delays in the process.
